Amey Engineers' PS H, SM series of heavy duty shredders are suitable for bulk shredding of AL foils/ strips, Blisters which are widely used in pharma industry for packaging OTC medicines.  These shredders are well suited for high throughput requirements and bulk feed loading.

PS H and SM series of heavy duty shredders are also available in various add on configurations, one of which is Tablet separating arrangement in which tablets/ pills/ capsules can be separated during shredding of Al foils/strips or blisters.

Tablet separator arrangements are in the form of Screw Conveyor type, Vibratory separator type, or a simple slopping discharge chute with holes drilled through it for separating the pills/tablets from shredded output and collecting them at the bottom. The type of Tablet separator arrangement is selected according to application and customer's requirement. Besides tablet separator arrangement , these shredders can also be fitted with 'Cyclone dust separator' for separating the dust from the shredded output.

PS H series is a dual shaft shredder series whereas SM series shredders are available in dual and four shaft configurations. PS H and SM series shredders come with 3 phase IP rated TEFC induction motors ranging from 5 hp to 40 hp.  Throughput obtained is from 100 to 500 kg/hr. 

Other features include- Sturdy base frame construction, easy installation, ease of serviceability & low maintenance.

Standard models in this series are: PS 300 H, PS 400 H, PS 600 H, SM 300, SM 400, SM 600, SM 800.
