Cold drink cans or soft drink cans are metal containers designed to store specific amount of liquid and are generally made of Aluminium(75% worldwide use) or Tin-plated steel (25% worldwide use).  Worldwide production of cold drink cans is estimated to be at 100 billion cans per year. After consumption, such cold drink cans are discarded as wastes, which must be recycled. However such scrap cold drink cans are first invariably shredded to ensure efficiency in recycling and recovery process.

PS H MC series of heavy duty dual shaft shredders can shred all types of such cold drink cans and other beverage and food cans of aluminium and tin-plated steel material.  PS H MC series of shredders are primarily driven by 3 phase IP rated induction motors ranging from 7.5 hp to 12.5 hp and these shredders come with duly toughened shafts and alloy steel cutters with Milled tooth configuration for proper grabbing and shredding of soft drink cans and other such aluminium and tin cans. Throughput obtained from the shredder varies from 400 kg/hr to few tons/hr across the PS H MC shredder range. Feed widths for standard models range from 310 mm to 610 mm. Shredded output can be collected in a bag/bin or can be directly transported to the vehicle via  discharge conveyor. Besides this, various feed hopper arrangements and dust separator arrangement can also be provided. 

Standard models in the PS H MC series include: PS 300 H MC, PS 400 H MC, PS 600 H MC. (Custom models in this series are also available.)   For customers looking for still high throughput requirements, SM and SM HD series of heavy to ultra heavy duty shredders are also available.  All shredders are available in M.S. and S.S. MoC.
