About Scrap sheet metal shredder

Sheet metal is metal formed by an industrial process into thin, flat pieces. Sheet metal is one of the fundamental forms used in metal-working and countless everyday objects are fabricated from sheet metal. Sheet metals are used in wide range of manufacturing industries. Naturally, a considerable amount of metal sheet waste is generated all over the world every year. Sheet metal wastes are generally shredded prior to recycling and recovery.

Amey Engineers offers robust SM and SM HD range of heavy duty dual and four shaft shredders ideal for shredding scrap metal sheets and are suitable for continuous heavy duty operation. SM and SM HD series of shredders can handle sheet metal scrap of materials like mild steel, aluminium, S.S, tin. Scrap Sheet metals upto 3.5 mm thickness can be shredded.

Basically SM and SM HD series of shredders are offered in four standard models each, however customized models as per customer's requirements are also available. Some of the features of SM and SM HD series of shredders are as below:-

SM and SM HD shredders come with a high safety factor gearbox with multi-stage reduction that ensures smooth torque delivery and long service life of gears. Cutters used are of alloy steel and use milled and multi point tooth configurations. Drive shafts are too of alloy steel and duly toughened. Other features include sturdy base frame construction, easy servicing, low maintenance, operator safe design, easy installation (no extra foundation is required).

Optional configurations like auto-feeding system, discharge conveyor arrangement, dust separator arrangement can also be provided as per customer's requirement. SM and SM HD series of shredders are available in M.S. or S.S. MoC.
