Product Description
Aluminium bales are the mixture of all sorts of aluminium wastes (like cans, foils, blisters , packets, aerosol spray cans etc.) which are compressed into a block like form or shape. Aluminium block bales are shredded so as to reduce them into small sizes which can then be easily melted in the furnace for further process.
Amey Engineers offers both single shaft shredders and dual shaft shredders for shredding aluminium block bales (upto 2-3 inches thick). Single- shaft shredder models come with Single/3 phase IP rated induction motors ranging from 5 hp to 12.5 hp. Single shaft AL bales shredder works on material disintegration and cut-shredding principle of operation. Single shaft shredder is very cost effective and productive. Dual shaft shredder models (in SM and SM HD series) are heavy duty model series and come with 3 phase IP rated induction motors ranging from 15 hp to 120 hp. Both type of shredders use in-house designed high safety factor gearbox for velocity reduction and torque transmission. Cutters employed are of alloy steel type and come in milled and multi-point toothed roll configurations. Throughput obtained across the entire shredder range is from 300 kg/hr to few tons/hr. Standard feed widths range from 310 mm to 810 mm and various feed hopper types are available as per requirement.
Other optional arrangements include dust separator arrangement, discharge conveyor arrangement etc. AL bales shredders are available in M.S and S.S. MoC.
