Amey Engineers offers heavy duty SM HD series of dual and four shaft shredders for handling tough plastic wastes like Industrial Drums which are used for material storage purposes. These drums are generally made of PVC, HPDE material or any other plastic polymers. 

SM HD series of heavy duty shredders can shred all such plastic drums, even upto 100 liter capacity without any difficulty and are extremely suitable for large plastic recycling plants. SM HD series of shredders come with 3 phase TEFC Induction motors ranging from 25 hp to 120 hp and deliver torque to the toughened drive shafts through multistage reduction gearbox. High torque low speed operation coupled with hardened alloy steel  Cutters with Multipoint toothed roll configuration, ensure effective and consistent shredding of tough plastic materials. Throughput obtained is around 300 to 1000 kg/hr (even higher throughput can be obtained in customized models.) 

Feed widths available in standard model range is from 310 mm to 810 mm suitable for easy feeding. Various feed hopper configurations or automatic feeding mechanism can be provided. Apart from this, discharge conveyor arrangement, dust separator arrangement and liquid separator arrangement can be incorporated as per customer's requirement.  Other features include sturdy base frame construction, low maintenance, easy servicing and operator safe design.

Standard models in SM HD series shredders include: SM 300 HD, SM 400 HD, SM 600 HD, SM 800 HD. [Customized SM HD shredder models are also available.]

For customers requiring less throughput and low feed input requirements , PS H and SM series of shredders are also available.
