About Coconut Shredder

OWS 3 is a single shaft type organic waste shredder developed by Amey Engineers and is ideal for shreddding hard organic wastes like coconuts (in whole or in pieces).

OWS 3 is driven by a 3 hp IP rated electric motor, through a Pulley and belt drive. This shredder comes with alloy steel hardened Hammer blades (16 to 20 nos.) mounted on pins of central toughened shaft and the resulting hammering action causes the material to shred progressively in every revolution. Such a configuration and 3 hp motor allows OWS 3 to shred whole coconuts and all other household organic wastes and other garden wastes like tree leaves , twigs etc.

OWS 3 can give a throughput of 200 to 400 kg/hr.

Other features include- Low Maintenance, Easy to service, operator safe design, easy installation (no extra foundation is required).

This shredder is especially suitable for shredding coconut and related wastes generated in residential environments. For heavy duty or commercial coconut shredding requirements,Amey EngineersPS H MC, SM and SM HD series of heavy to ultra heavy duty shredders are also available.
