Motherboards form one of the important e-wastes. Motherboards are critical component of all sorts of computing devices and they are important from metal recovery point of view. Motherboard shredding is an important pre-process before recycling and metal recovery.

Amey Engineers' PS H MC series of heavy duty dual shaft shredders can shred all types of Motherboards (of computers and other computing devices.) PS H MC series of dual shaft shredders comes in three models as standard however custom make models are also available. Some of the features of standard PS H MC models are listed below:

All the PS H MC shredder models use pulley and worm-box reduction mechanism for power transmission to the drive shaft. Cutters are of alloy steel hardened type and use Milled and multi-point tooth configuration. Shredded output is in the form strips of 10 to 12 mm widths. At discharge side bag clamping or collection bin facility is provided. Apart from this, extra arrangements like automatic feed system, discharge conveyor system, dust separator, magnetic metal separator arrangements can be provided. PS H MC shredders are available in M.S. or S.S. MoC.

For customers looking for even higher throughput requirements, SM and SM HD series of heavy duty shredders (upto 120 hp) are also available.
