Amey Engineers has come up with a technically and economically viable shredder solution for shredding small size pharma bottles like ear drops, nose drops, eye drop bottles, and other such small medicine bottles (both glass and plastic type).  PS 300 MC dual shaft shredder from Amey Engineer is ideally suitable for this application.

PS 300 MC has a 3 hp (Single/ 3 phase)IP rated motor and has a standard feed width of 310 mm. Alloy steel case hardened cutters (Milled, toothed or serrated type) and low speed high torque principle of working ensure efficient shredding of abrasive glass material and homogenous plastic material at all times. Throughput obtained is 50 to 60 kg/hr.

This shredder is available in Combo configuration for simultaneous glass and plastic bottle shredding. Different feed hopper configurations are available and at the discharge gate, collection bin or bag clamping facility is provided. This shredder is also compatible with auto-feeding arrangement. Feed chute design is such that operator's hand will not reach cutter blades.
