About Aluminium Strips/Foils Shredder

AL foils/ strips are widely used for packaging medicines, pills, capsules etc. Al strips/ foils thus forms a considerable amount of pharma waste which must be first shredded to dispose it safely.

Amey Engineers offers PS 400 dual shaft shredder which is viable from cost point of view and at the same time is highly productive in shredding all types of AL strips/ foils. This shredder gives high throughput for per hp of power consumed.

PS 400 shredder uses a 3 hp IP rated motor and is equipped with alloy steel hardened cutters with 120 mm diameter. Linear cutting speed is 13 m/min. Standard feed width is 410 mm. Amey Engineers uses in-house designed high safety factor gearbox for torque transmission and velocity reduction; ensuring long service life of gears and smooth operation.

Average throughput of PS 400 shredder is between 50 to 60 kg/hr.

Other standard model in PS series include PS 300. Models with custom configurations also available. However for bulk or heavy duty requirements, PS H, SM and SM HD series of shredders are also available.

Shredders available in cGMP conforming MoC.
