Tin containers are used for storage of various materials out of which one application is the storage of paints. Paint industries sell their various paints in such tin containers, which after being used are discarded by consumers. Such discarded paint tins are shredded to reduce their form and size and then sent to recovery and recycling process.

For this Paint tins shredding application, Amey Engineers offers PS 600 H MC dual shaft shredder (of the PS H MC heavy duty shredder series), which are well suited for this purpose and are also cost effective and productive.  PS 600 H MC shredder is powered by a 12.5 hp 3-phase IP rated induction motor and the torque delivery to the drive shafts is through pulley and worm-box reduction mechanism.  Drive shafts and cutters are of special alloy steel and cutters come in milled and multi-point toothed roll configurations. Standard feed width is at 610 mm.  Throughput obtained  can be upto few tonnes/hr.  Custom models with different cutter widths, feed widths and higher throughputs are also available.

PS 600 H MC shredder is also available with various feed hopper arrangements and other optional  arrangements like discharge conveyor  system, cyclone dust separator system etc can also be provided.  The design of this shredder is operator safe and this shredder has low  maintenance, servicing is easy and  the shredder does not need any special foundation for  it's installation. PS 600 H MC shredder is available in M.S. or S.S. MoC.
