HDPE and LDPE bottles are used for storage purposes (liquid, powders, medicines etc) by various industries like Pharma, foods, FMCG, dairy and other industries. Scrap HDPE and LDPE bottles must be shredded to avoid their misuse and also to ensure that they can be properly recycled.

PS 600 H MC is a dual shaft shredder from PS H MC series of shredders developed by Amey Engineers and is appropriate for shredding all kinds of HDPE/ LDPE bottles.  PS 600 H MC shredder is powered by a 12.5 hp TEFC IP rated induction motor and delivers torque to the toughened drive shafts through pulley and gearbox reduction mechanism. This shredder comes equipped with alloy steel Cutter blades of Milled and Multi-point toothed roll configuration for efficient shredding. Cutter diameter is 170 mm and linear cutting speed is around 18 m/min.  Feed width is at 610 mm for easy feeding.  One can get a throughput of around 60 to 120 kg/hr depending on the rate of feeding.

Safety features include Emergency stop, Auto-reversing functionality, overload protection. Feed chute opening is also designed in such a way as to prevent the operator's hand from reaching cutter blades.
