Car/Light Motor Vehicles tyres and other scrap tyres are a problematic waste today, due to low degradation rate and environmental nuisance they cause. Amey Engineers offers a reliable solution for shredding car tyre wastes so that they can be further recycled in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

Amey Engineers' heavy duty SM and SM HD series of dual and four shaft shredders are well suited for shredding all types of cars tyres, SUV tyres and other LMV and LCV tyres. SM and SM HD series of shredders come with 3 phase IP rated induction motors in power range of 15 hp to 120 hp. A high safety factor gearbox with multi-stage reduction ensures smooth torque delivery and long service life. Cutters used are of alloy steel and use milled and multi point tooth configurations. Drive shafts are too of alloy steel and duly toughened. Standard feed widths are from 310 mm to 810 mm. (Custom models with still greater feed widths also available). Throughput obtained can be around 100 to 1000 kg/hr depending on model and rate of feed.

Other features include sturdy base frame construction, easy servicing, low maintenance, operator safe design, easy installation (no extra foundation is required).

Standard models include:- SM 300, SM 400, SM 600, SM 800, SM 300 HD, SM 400 HD, SM 600 HD, SM 800 HD. (Customized shredder models also available )
