PET Bottle Shredder

PET bottles are widely used in applications such as packaged drinking water, cold drink bottles, juice bottles, other liquid storage bottles etc and forms a considerable amount of plastic waste. PET bottles should be shredded to reduce their form and size so that they can be effectively recycled.

Amey Engineers' PS MC and PS H MC range of medium to heavy duty dual shaft shredders are ideally suitable for PET bottle shredding and can be used at small recycling plants, commercial and industrial installations.  PS MC and PS H MC series of shredders come with TEFC  Induction motors in 3 hp to 12.5 hp range.  These shredders come with durable alloy steel hardened cutters with Milled and Multi- point toothed roll configuration for effective grabbing and shredding of PET material. Upto 2 liter bottles can be shredded without any difficulty. Throughput from the shredders can be from 30 to 100 kg/hr depending on the shredder model and rate of input feed. Shredded output is in the form of strips of 7 mm or 12 mm depending on cutter width (Custom sizes are also available on request.)

Additional accessories like cyclone dust separator arrangement or discharge conveyor arrangements can also be provided.

Standard model range is: PS 300 MC, PS 400 MC, PS 300 H MC, PS 400 H MC, PS 600 H MC. 

For light duty requirement PS OH MC series shredders are suitable whereas for bulk loading and high throughput requirements such as at large plastic recycling plants, SM and SM HD  series of heavy duty shredders are also available.
